(Design shown is for representation purposes only) This chart will give you the directions and color key on how to make your own Flying Geese (a type of quilting design) unique sampler based upon the weather of your local geography, as well as where to find the needed weather data. Included is an area for an extra day, when there’s a leap year, as well as room to insert the year of your sampler. All charted numbers are also provided.

The pattern is 117 stitches wide x 121 stitches high.

The pattern uses only full stitches (with a little backstitching if you choose to include the year), so even though it is on the larger side, it's simple enough for even a beginner.
